DigiHUD Speedometer: Accurate GPS-based Speed and Distance Information

DigiHUD Speedometer is a reliable and ad-free GPS-based digital head-up display (HUD) that provides essential speed and distance information for your journey. Whether you need to verify your vehicle speed, track your speed while cycling, running, flying, or sailing, or if your vehicle speedo has malfunctioned, DigiHUD Speedometer has got you covered. With its user-friendly features and accurate readings, it's an ideal companion for all your speed-related needs.

The app offers a convenient switch between normal viewing and HUD mode, which reflects the display on your vehicle windshield for easy nighttime visibility. DigiHUD can seamlessly open as a floating window on top of other apps or your home screens, ensuring you have easy access to the information you need. It also works with external GPS receivers, offering even greater accuracy (tested at 10Hz).

While DigiHUD strives to provide accurate readings, it's important to note that the accuracy is dependent on your device's GPS sensor. Therefore, the readings should be regarded as approximations.

How to Use DigiHUD:

• Lite Mode (speed only) - swipe the speed left or right. Swipe again to return
• HUD Mode (mirrored) - swipe the speed up or down. Swipe again to return
• Touch the trip counter to cycle through the three counters
• Long-pressing on a speed or trip value will reset it
• Long-press the speed unit to choose between MPH, KMH, and KTS from the popup menu (also available in the Main Menu)

In window mode, touch the DigiHUD icon for a menu to switch to fullscreen mode or exit. The window can be resized using the corner drag handle. You can also reset all values by long-pressing "PAUSE RESET," except for the Odometer reading in the Statistics popup, which counts the total distance since the application was installed or its data was cleared.

Main Menu:

Access the Main Menu by touching the speed displayed in the center of the screen. From there, you can:

• Exit DigiHUD
• Switch between Window/Background Mode (close and open as a resizable floating window)
• Toggle between HUD view and Normal view
• Change Speed Unit (MPH, KMH, or KTS)
• Set Warning Speed/Sound (change the color to red when you exceed a certain speed and enable an audible alert)
• Adjust Brightness
• Choose from 10 customizable Display Colors (excluding black)
• Lock screen rotation
• Enable/disable screen elements using Display Preferences
• Access Statistics (odometer, trip distance, top speed, average speed, and version number)
• Show help and other information in the Help section

*Please note that this application requires the use of the GPS receiver, which may result in increased battery usage.

The screen will not turn off during long journeys and works in both landscape and portrait modes.
